History:

Black Mustard Seeds are herbaceous plant grown as major crop in northern and western parts of India. They are black or slightly brown in color but are rich in oil. Yellow Mustard Seeds are less pungent than compared to black mustard seeds. India is one of the largest countries to produce and consume mustard seeds. The Brassica genus includes broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, turnips and radishes. The mustard family also includes plants grown for their leaves, like arugula, a number of Oriental greens, as well as mustard greens.
